The Creative Nature Festival is organised by the University of Tartu Natural History Museum and Botanical Gardens from June 3rd to June 7th.

Tartu Ülikooli loodusmuuseumis on alates 26. novembrist kuni 28. veebruarini avatud Kristina Popovi näitus „Soo keha“ (Body of Mire). Näitus on jätk Popovi Tartu Ülikooli botaanikaaias eksponeeritud näitusele „Soo“.

Näitus „Looduse loor“, mille autoriks on Luksemburgi kunstnik Justine Blau ja kuraatoriks Fanny Weinquin, uurib inimese ja looduse vahelist suhet.

The full programme of Tartu 2024 is announced on 19 October, exactly one hundred days before the beginning of the year of the European Capital of Culture. The University of Tartu supports the activities of the Capital of Culture and the programme includes various events organised by the university.

Estonia's most species-dense garden, The University of Tartu Botanical Garden, celebrated its 220th anniversary in June. The celebrations started with the Nature Festival, which this year took place from 7 to 11 June across Estonia, and continued with a big party on 27 June.

The Natural History Museum will open on 22.6 from 10 am to 3 pm and close on 23.-24.6. The Botanical Garden will be open during the holidays at normal hours. Happy Midsummer!

The University of Tartu Botanical Garden is open during the holidays. The Museum of Natural History is closed from 7 to 9 April, except on 8 April. You are welcome to visit us during the holidays!
