Natural Science Institutes from Europe sent a letter to ministers and MEPs asking them to stand up for nature. The University of Tartu Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden also signed the letter, represented by Director Urmas Kõljalg.

The ninth annual Nature Festival focuses on the beauty and wildlife of gardens. It will take place from 7 to 11 June. Proposals from co-organisers are accepted until 31 March.
