Programmes in cooperation with the Vanemuine Theatre and the Yellow Cats invite children's groups to participate

The University of Tartu Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden's popular educational programmes in cooperation with the Vanemuine Theatre and the Yellow Cats take place in February, March and April. Booking for the educational programmes is now open.

Sometimes it's not easy to distinguish between what's from a game and what's real—the "Play and Real" pairs lessons for kindergartners run from 21 February to 28 April. The classes start in the small house of the Vanemuine Theatre and end at the University of Tartu Natural History Museum. Duration 2 hours, €145 per group of up to 25 participants. The classes are in Estonian.

Cold and warm, night and day - everything changes at breakneck speed and is pleasantly whirlwind. Together we will explore animal behaviours and adaptations at different times of the year. The "Revolving Solstice" lessons for groups of 5-10-year-olds will take place on 20-24 and 29-30 March. The classes will take place at the University of Tartu Natural History Museum. Duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, €145 per group of up to 25 participants. The classes are in Estonian.

In the Botanic Garden, we will dive into the world of plants and theatre, where we will discover, have fun and make crafts with the Yellow Cats. The "Pineapple and the Yellow Cat" educational programme for 5-10-year-olds will take place on April 10-14 and 17. The classes will take place in the University of Tartu Botanical Garden. Duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, €145 for groups of up to 25 participants. The classes are in Estonian.

To participate, please pre-register by email or phone. For the "Play and Real" and "Revolving Solstice" programmes, book at loodusmuuseum@ut.ee or 737 6076. "Pineapple and the Yellow Cat" can be booked at botaed@ut.ee and 737 6180. All classes are in Estonian.
