Nature Talks "Who is the bird of the year and how are they doing?"

Leho Luigujõe talks about the bird of the year at the University of Tartu Natural History Museum's March Nature Talks event.

Long-tailed ducks can be seen in Estonian waters, both migrating and wintering. These waterfowl migrate to the tundra to breed. "As Estonia is an important landmark for long-tailed ducks, we have a responsibility to protect this rapidly declining species," said Leho Luigujõe.
