Laura Veerde's harp concert in the palm house of the University of Tartu Botanical Garden on 9 March at 14:00 will give a beautiful ending to the orchid exhibition.

The traditional orchid exhibition brings rare and beautiful orchid species to the University of Tartu Botanical Garden every year. There is also an orchid competition as part of the exhibition, where a public vote will determine the most beautiful orchids. The award ceremony for this year's orchid competition will be on Sunday, 9 March, followed by Laura Veerde's harp concert at 14:00 in the palm house of the botanical garden.

Hugo Treffner Gymnasium student Veerde's love for the harp began as a child. Having studied playing the harp for six years in a music school, Veerde now wants to share the beauty of harp music with a wider audience.

Laura's repertoire includes works by world-famous composers as well as original works. At the award ceremony of the orchid competition, music by Claudia Kuhn, Wendy Stewart, Christoph Pampuch and Gráinne Yeats will be played.

Laura Veerde's harp concert will take place in the palm house of the University of Tartu Botanical Garden on 9 March at 14:00. A botanical garden ticket is required for entry. The orchid competition is supported by Ecoshop.
